1. Introduction

ElectriCount is operated by SoftOhm Systems LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how drawings and automated processing are handled, and what rights you may have regarding your data.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data such as email address, name, company, and hashed password.
• Workspace and project data such as plan sets, uploaded drawings, page images, symbols, measurements, estimates, catalogs, notes, and exports.
• Automated processing data such as OCR/CV results, templates, page-scan counts, reviewed hits, rejected hits, and processing metadata.
• Operational data such as logs, errors, security events, device/browser data, IP address, and feature usage needed to run and protect the service.
• Billing metadata handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Data

• To authenticate users and provide the service.
• To process drawings, OCR/CV runs, takeoff, measurements, estimates, and exports.
• To send transactional emails and support notices.
• To enforce plan limits, rate limits, abuse controls, and account security.
• To debug errors, monitor reliability, respond to support requests, and improve product quality.

4. Drawings, CV, OCR, and AI

ElectriCount processes uploaded PDFs and drawing images to provide takeoff, OCR, computer vision, page rendering, symbol counting, measurements, estimates, and exports. Automated results are used to support your workflow and may require human review. We do not use customer drawings, PDFs, estimates, or project files to train AI or computer vision models unless you give explicit written or in-product consent.

5. Third-Party Processors

We use service providers to operate ElectriCount, including Supabase for database and storage, Vercel and Vercel Blob for hosting and file delivery, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Upstash Redis for rate limiting and operational controls, Sentry for error monitoring, and the ElectriCount CV engine hosted on Vercel for drawing processing. These providers process data only as needed to provide, secure, monitor, and support the service.

6. Retention and Deletion

We keep account, project, billing, security, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. You may request deletion of your account or project data. Some records may remain in backups, logs, payment records, or security records for a limited period where retention is necessary.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including authentication, access controls, logging, encryption in transit, and managed infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for protecting your account credentials and controlling who can access your workspace.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact contact@electricount.com for requests. For general or billing questions, contact support@electricount.com.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, and core product functionality. Optional analytics or product-improvement cookies are used only if you choose "accept all" in the cookie banner. If you choose essential only, optional analytics are not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage), and you can clear it to see the banner again and change your choice.

10. International Processing

We and our providers may process data in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. By using ElectriCount, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in those locations subject to applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, laws, or business requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, communicated through the product or email.
